FS: 2002-ish Kestrel KM40, 56cm, 650c Can't Post

Yo,

I'm selling my first Tri-bike. It was handed down to me in 2005 from a family friend who rode it to several HIM's and Ironman's. It has about 5200k on it and is in GOOD-GREAT condition, but not excellent. The fellow was 6'2 and I'm 5'9 so this year I got a frame that fit better. Although, I was able to hold 28mph on a few local flats! Bike is so smooth and fast to ride, it just wasn't the right fit for me. I hate selling such a cool bike, but it has to pay for my Felt.

  • 56cm Kestrel KM40 Airfoil- RED- CARBON Frame and fork (duh)
  • 650cm Spinergy race wheels in good condition. They are fast! Clincher set up with less than 300 miles on the tires.
  • Dura-Ace up front and drivetrain, Shimano XTR rear derailer set up. You can climb! For those of you that have done the Wildflower in Nor Cal, I took this bike up Honeyrun Road!
  • Currently has roadbars and Vision TT Clip-ons.
  • There are various CHIPS in the paint on the top tube, fork, rear-stays etc. NO CRACKS!! Only cosmetic chips.
  • No Pedals, as I put them on my new bike.
  • Computer included.
  • I will send this bike sparkling! but it will need a tune up.
I'm looking for $900 BUT make me an OFFER I can't refuse!

I'm moving at the end of the month and don't want to have to take this with me. Make me an offer. I'm willing to part out as well.

I'd be tempted to make an offer as the bike is my size, but the 650cc wheels are the deal breaker. Good luck on a sale though! Kestrels are beautiful bikes.
