Bluetooth headset Can't Post

Anyone have any good luck with lower end bluetooth headsets. I don't do business calls on the thing...just need one for when I am driving.

I would like one that is rechargeable and where the sound is good and the person you are talking to isn't always saying "huh"

I'm using the $59 LG version and it seems ok so far.

I use a $60 Motorolla one. I am not sure how "low-end" you are talking. I like the Motorolla and have had zero problems with it.

Here is a weird thing though. When I use it, some people that I talk to complain that they get some sort of an echo for what they say. The echo when I stop using the bluetooth. I don't know if that is a common problem or not.

I have the jawbone and could not be happier! It's pricier than other's but the noise reduction is fantastic. Their customer service is also great!

I've gone through two Motorola bluetooths (think it's the c700)...they're okay, but the microphone seems to get poor after about a year. I'm thinking about getting the Jawbone...
Anybody else have any bluetooth headset insights??

I believe that the echo is caused by the closeness of the speaker (thru which you hear the caller) and the microphone. Simply enough, the microphone picks up the caller's voice and retransmits it back to the caller -- and there's your echo. The same can happen on speakerphones, particularly less expensive ones. In each case, you can usually lessen any echo effect by decreasing the speaker volume. With a headset, making sure that the speakerphone is closer and more firmly against the ear might also help lessen the "leakage" of the caller's voice that is picked up by the microphone.
