I'm feeling piggish today, so I'll post this and vote for Lolo Jones, who I'd never heard of until she unfortunately lost...

Lolo's personality irks me. She's nice enough, but.....something weird. What's with the sunglasses at night?
My vote goes to Alicia Sacramone, Kara Goucher, and the older Phelps sister (who's not an Olympian).

Not surprising. She seems to have some serious self esteem issues (pulling from my child psych background.....and personal experience...unfortunately). She has moved all over the country growing up and was, I believe, in and out of 4 foster homes. They were saying that despite everything she's accomplished that she never felt like she was any good because everytime she'd win something someone would say, "yeah, but so and so was hurt that day." Most people could ignore something like that, but she couldn't.
I actually kind of feel bad about what I wrote above (notice the edit). She seems to not have had things too easy. Its ashame what happened in the race on top of it all. It certainly won't help. She handled herself with a lot of class in the interview after the race.

Yeah, Lolo is amazing! I also hadn't heard of her until just recently. One of my favorites is winter Olympian Kikkan Randall (nordic skier). I think she's so cute.

I don't know if I would use the same terms but I'm thinking that a lot of elite athletes don't date because they don't have time. With all the training, eating, sleeping and travel set out for them there is probably not a lot of time for dating.
