I know it seems ridiculous but... (Bigfoot news).

Have you seen the story about the two fellows from Georgia (the one i the United States, not the one where the war is now) who claim to have discovered a bigfoot carcass- and they have saved it- and there is ongoing DNA testing?

Every bigfoot website is abuzz with this. A couple have crashed from the traffic. The 99th percentile says this is a not too sophisticated hoax. The rest suggests something big may be afoot....

Well, there's probably a reason it sounds so ridiculous...
I have to give them credit, they've done a great job of creating buzz around this whole story. They might have a future in the marketing world.
I've been following the whole story over at the randi.org forums, and it has hoax written all over it. Until real scientists have a look at this thing, it's just a story and a picture. Anyone remember the alien autopsy?

My first go around in college I had to take a Speech class. One of our assignments was to do a persuasive speech. To make it a little more interesting, the professor offered 10 extra credit points to the speech that was voted the most persuasive by our fellow students (you were not allowed to vote for your own). I did my speech on Big Foot. I compiled a bunch of "evidence," cross-linked with world-wide phenomenon (yeti, sasquatch, etc.), and provided scientific theory about the genetic "missing link." In the end there were only 2 votes that went against me (including my own). At the end of the class, the professor asked me to provide her with copies of my research notes, because she "was going to further my research on her own." Okay...whatever!
I'm glad to see that I have been proven correct!

Their 3 DNA tests show human, possum and inconclusive. So much for that. They claim they will be handing out more pictures.
BTW- Any thread is appropriate for JLC boob discussion. They are real...and they are spectacular :-0 At least they were when TP was made.
