I am flying on Monday (after the F1 race) to Abu Dhabi and get there on Tuesday for the course and detail reveal of the amazing new event there. Supposedly a big money event and I am guessing something longer, but I will know more on Tuesday.

It pains me too, but camping did not sound like a great alternative. :-)

I call BS. Abu Dhabi is a scam. No way they fill up 16,000 rooms unless they let their Indian laborers stay indoors for a few nights...

Just because hotel rooms in Indianapolis don't sell out when the F! Circus shows up, doesn't mean the same is true elsewhere.

If I remember correctly, the foreign laborers were mostly Pakistani. In the bars they somehow manage to get eastern European ladies pouring drinks though. Man, there was this Romanian gal in Dubai....

not in abu dhabi.....no alcohol with the exception of in certain hotels (and i've never seen a "bar").

I will say it is an incredible place. If you have the chance to visit I highly recommend it. I'd consider a race around there, maybe a 70.3?
