Any deals at IMC expo?

When i went to placid to volunteer a few weeks ago there wher some great savings on goodies in the expo area, i just wished i had researched how pricey the items are back home in canada so i would have made more purchases, i.e gels, wireless computer, helmet, blackwel wheels, fuel belts etc.
Are there usually any deals in penticton?.
Also i am very interested in getting a box of green apple power gels, and rasberry cream power gels, but they are not for sale in canada. Any one feel like draging an extra box or two over? :)

usually its crap, no where close to the US IM races in terms of stuff for sale or to play with, something about customs and ROI. No discrespect to Tri3 or even Bike Barn but neither compare to the bling on display at Inside Out at some of the US IM we raced, I suspect its purely a function of population size. At 2002 IM Florida the unofficial expo was even better than the official one in terms of vendors.

One problem existing for us are the restrictions imposed upon all vendors. Many products that we believe would sell great and are unavailable to many of the athletes had to remain at our store because of our agreement with NA Sports.
We pulled together what we could, hope you guys stop by the expo and check us out! (weather permitting)

There is a great bike store and running store in Penticton as well you know.It would be nice to support the local businesses who support the tri-community all year.

Well we would have loved to bring Fulcrum, Reynolds, 2XU, PRO and other high end gear, however our agreement restricts us from selling many products. Specifically us being the "official" shop means we can ONLY sell cycling/bike specific goods associated with specific brands.
We have great stuff from Blackwell, Zipp, LG, Giro etc... but more would have been great
