Calgary/Airdrie triathletes wanted to sponsor middle-school triathletes

I'm a middle-school teacher in Airdrie, AB who is starting a competitive triathlon program for about 10 middle-school students (as well as a 5-week fun club in the spring.)
There are a few students in my program whose families lack the funds to pay for the pool time. We will also be looking for bikes, trainers, and some misc. equipment. I'm pretty sure we can refurbish some used equipment for this.
If you would be interested in sponsoring one of my students (around $20 a month) please contact me at nstabler@rockyview.ab.ca It shouldn't be too difficult to provide a tax receipt through the school.
Ideally, it would be great to have somebody who could also volunteer with the kids... go on group-rides or join in for pool workouts! I think this could be a neat bond between an adult triathlete and the kids in the program. The kids are really gung-ho about getting started!
