Delta Airlines-IM Cozumel	Can't Post

If at all possible do not book Delta Airlines for travel to Cozumel if you are planning on taking your bike on the plane. $600.00 round trip no exceptions. I will be pulling up my pants now that hurt. I was a DA and booked a ticket on expedia not thinking it would be that bad of a charge.

Why not FedEx or UPS your bike down?

That's unfortunate. I am sorry for you.

There is a direct link to a key thread that scrolls across the top of this and every page on the forum. In that thread it states clearly numerous times that when it comes to flying with your bike, Delta is one of the absolute worst airlines to fly with.

Why people still book with them I have no idea.

My friends made that mistake two years ago on Fedex,they held his bike hostage until he hired a broker and they wanted $1000 plus.

Fleck, I'm probably the only dumbass. I probably have noticed it, but I think what I meant to say is that I thought it was just links to retailers like (as I am looking at it now) trisports.com and SBR, etc. I didn't realize it contained also links to threads in these forums. Simply put, I figured they were all scrolling ads, so I never bothered to examine it closely.

And getting back on topic - yeah, fuck Delta!

Yeah, the hell with the airlines. Let's drive. There's a ferry from the mainland over to Cozumel when we get there and it's pretty cheap.
