Garmin 310xt problem - anyone got an idea???	Can't Post

Hey STers,
After doing the back-and-forth with Garmin for a few weeks, I'm hoping someone here has some experience and can help.
Bought a 310xt about 2 months ago. Like it (some good improvements over the 305), except I've had TONS of problems with getting the ANT/Connect functions.
- After about 4 weeks, it had a transfer failure (error message pops up in the ANT menu): no data will download from there.
- I contact Garmin, who advises me to do a Hard Restart (erases everything and resets to factory null specs). Fair enough... I do this, it works for anothe two times.
- After two more workouts, same story. Garmin says I do the same thing again. I do... works again... for a week (maybe 3 runs and 4 bikes). Then same error message.
It's a great unit when it works, which is becoming less and less frequent. Anyone have any ideas?!?! Thanks!

At this point, it might be a computer software problem? have you tried downloading it from another computer and see if the same problem come up? If it does, i would simply return the unit for warrenty. Garmin warrenty service is very good in this matter. Just need to sort out first if it s a watch problem or your computer that does something funny....

What version of ANT+ agent are you running? I had a slough of issues downloading data off my 310xt, but someone on GF recommended to uninstall whatever version of ANT Agent I was running, and re-install version 2.2.1 ONLY. That was in September, and I haven't had any downloading problems since
