Good bike machine workouts

I have no access to a bike or a decent spin machine for several months, and am restricted to using just a plain 'ol bike machine (like the kind at your local gym). What are some good workouts that can be done that will get me ready to start riding hard as soon as I get back to the real world and can start cycling again? Also, I only have a tri bike at home so I really need to work the same muscles here as I will be using later. I am using some strength workouts found in The Triathletes Training Bible but I am open to anything and everything. "Non Novis Solumn"
