The 15 day forecast calls for a high of 77 and a low of 60. Too warm.

Has Florida ever been non-wetsuit for the swim?

low needs to climb some so not cold on bike begginning at least this year we are on bike an hour later due to time changing week before.
water temps are 73 today I bet they warm up a couple of degrees next day or so due to higher temps but will still be under 78 race day.

I'd prefer 80 for the high tired of all these races being cold.. Imlou this year I signed up because I knew it would be hot and yet it was in 60's at the start never got over 80.
Imcda was cold this year.. Only guarntees for that I guess are hawaii, lanzarote and malaysia.
I get cold on the bike anything under 68 degrees hate to put extra clothes on.

nope never has been non-wetsuit swim this year it took longer than usual for water to cool down usually end of september its 78 this year took mid october just few weeks ago to drop and it dropped quick with those cool nights..
now gulf coast has a few times over the years in may.
there were a couple of imf where week before the race red flags were out and there was talk of run instead of swim but race day seemed to clear up every time.

Also, do not freak about the tropical depression down in Central America right now. It takes a storm actually clearing the Yucatan for the waves from it to affect us up here, and that wouldn't happen until early next week if the storm even survives its projected jaunt through Nicaragua.
