Nutrition/Hydration for RI 70.3 Can't Post

Trying to decide how much water to lug. Will 40 oz suffice for RI? Is that enough (on average) to get between aid stations or even the whole course? I'm pretty conservative and that's what I'll pack for a 2hr ride. I estimate 2.5hr bike leg.

What's your eating/drinking plan for the race? : )

No love? I'm referring to the bike leg in case anyone thought 40 oz for the whole race is crazy.

I usually bring 2 bottles to start, and stop at one of the bottle exchanges as well. Keep in mind that I'm the one who posted about the bento box on my P3... :-)

If I recall, the stations were at mile 18, 30 and 46...40 oz will definately get you between the aid stations. First aid station comes after a flat first part of the ride. The second station is about a mile after 8 miles of rollers. The third station comes after 16 miles of flats with one decent hill right before the aid station.

FWIW.

Good luck.
