Planet X wheels for the weight wennies - just an fyi Can't Post

I had been looking for some Aero wheels that wouldn't kill the bank for my new TT bike. I ended up buying a set of Planet X wheels (82/101). I came across a seller on ebay that was offering the wheels built with Sapim CX-Ray spokes. This was a real Plus for me as ever since these spokes became available I have been building all my wheels with the Sapim spokes. In about 8 or so different wheels (road, MTB and cross), I have only ever had two spokes break - and these were on the same wheel on my road bike - go figure, the set that probably had the least amount of abuse.

Anyway, the build was using CX-Ray spokes and using American Classic hubs. Not a total fan of the hubs, but for limited road use, they will be fine, plus they can't be any worse than the generic hubs on the "stock builds"

The "stock build" wheelsets are showing a total wheelset weight of 1845 grams, this wheelset came in at 1693 (743 grams F 950 grams R) which is abouut 1/3 of a pound lighter.

Here is the seller that I used if anyone pam be interested
