Southeastern ST'ers .... 25k/50k Race .... Can't Post
Hello all:

I am helping put on a 25k/50k trail race on December 12, 2009 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The name of the race is The Nicholas Wilson Memorial Tashka Trail Race. Race distances are 4 miles / 25k / 50k. The trail is beautiful. The race is in memory of My second son who did not survive child birth. All proceeds go to The Childrens Hands on Museum in Tuscaloosa Alabama. A wonderful cause.

Join me December 12th for this inaugural event. I can help arrange lodging if need be.

Do you have a website? I'm looking for a trail race around that time. I procrastinated on Tecumseh trail marathon and got shut out.

Guys, a 50k run is a great way to enter into ultras. It's only 5 miles more than a marathon, with the adventure of trails mixed in. More likely than not when you finish your race you'll be looking at 50 mile ultras soon. Then that's when the fun REALLY begins. :-)
