I am curious what alot of you take regularly for supplements during the various times of the training season. It seems everyone you talk to has a vested interested in selling you as much as they can, and you can easily spend $200-$300 per month, much like they recommend at E-Caps....thanks for any insights.

None. Sometimes I remember to take a multi-vitamin, but not usually.
Clever name.

I take a daily multi from TwinLab along with about 4000 mg of their Vitamin C (2000 am/2000 pm).
I also take MSM/Glucosmine daily and I swear by it. I also take an immunoglobulin booster as well and swear by it too. I work retail as well as go to night school. I'm around sick people all the time during the winter and I'm rarely sick. It has to be a doosey of a germ to get to me. Throw in endurance training which supposedly leaves your immune system weak for several hours (up to six I've read).

Multi vitamin / mineral daily & 1000mg of VitC / Echinacea daily. When Training volume&intensity is high, i double the dose. Echinacea is a natural immune booster and the Vit C is an excellent antioxidant.

Platinum Performance granular on my yogurt every morning. It gives me lots of omega-3's, and has replaced my vitamin/mineral supplemenation. Plus it tastes good ; ).

Nothing except a varied, balanced, healthy diet. Especially after I ran the numbers on a typical day's nutrition and found that I am over 100% RDA for everything from eating normal food.

I tried E-caps for 6months in a lead up to IMFL and quite honestly didn't notice any difference. I love their other products, Hammergel and Perpetuem but I can't recommend the actual e-caps.

I don't take any supplements. Just a balanced diet with a lot of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, beef, chicken and salmon. My son hates it and begs me to go to McDonald's all of the time.
Duh?! I don't get the name. Someone please explain to this idiot.

Fe is the symbol on the Periodic Table of Elements for "Iron".... Don't worry about not getting it. I had to take a second look before I got it... Although, i'm in Marketing, so I had to think back to my High School Chemistry class.

At first I thought it meant you ride a steel bike.... now I get it though.
To answer your question, I'm pretty much with the rest of the posters - I take a mulitvitamin and sometimes flax seed oil. I don't always eat the best diet... I think if you're really cafreful about what you eat you wouldn't need any supplements at all.

I keep threatening my wife that I am going to get that name on a license plate.
I met a Registered Dietician/Triathlete who works extensively with the Navy Seal's and she says no supplements. The only thing she recommends is one multi-vitamin a day, her advice is to test the vitamin to make sure it disolves in 30 minutes or less.
