TDF Stage 1 - Pick the Winner	Can't Post

Anyone willing to pick the winner of Stage 1? Just to get it out of the way, I'll go with Lance Armstrong!!!

Hopefully he will drop the hammer and throw down the gauntlet right out of the gate!!! GO U.S.A !!!

Cancellara for the win. The contenders will be in the top 6-8 just staying in the game. I am not so sure Astana will want the jersey early unless they plan on letting it go on Sunday. I have followed the tour since the Merckxx days and the hype of this one is huge. It is hard to predict Armstrong because he has not really shown anything near the top . In the past he put up performances that gave a hint that the form was there . His TT's in the Giro just did not give any clue. Look for the guys like Sastre and Evans to show a bit also.

Chain's on the small ring, and those wheels don't match the bike at all. Come on Lance, what were you thinking???

My money's on Fabian for stage 1.

I think Evans is going to crush the 1st TT in hopes of putting some fear into Astana though it will be a show as I don't think Evans contention for the overall GC will last for long.
