TJ Tollakson's Bike...huh?
Can't Post
I can't tell where his arms go. Are there any aerobar extensions on this bike?

It looks like he's got a black koozie like thing slipped over the extensions, but you can see the ends of them. the shifter is right between the knees of the guy and gal behind him. They are pointed straight up. TJ is VERY excited to be in Kona!

See the guy in shorts and crocs in the background? Look to the left of his right knee. There are the extensions. And his elbows go in the nut cups.
Dude is one hell of an athlete, and his cockpit may be fast as hell, I have no idea. But that is one homely set-up.

Got it. I knew it was just like a "where's waldo" picture, and I was missing something that was plain as day in front of my eyes!

Apparently he has been to the tunnel to test the position too. I wonder if it was tested at multiple yaws? He's a smart guy and an engineer, so its safe to assume he's taking the various variables into play and crunching the data.

Here is a blow up of his bar setup from IMCdA this year... not great, but gives you an idea of it in action.

It may be faster but you couldn't pay me enough to ride with my elbows in nut cups.

Yes, she did the course as a relay. She had the fastest time.
They were swapping positions on the course.

I wouldn't have ridden the course if I was her...
It was 3-loops.
Waves sep.=2min.
Small state park road sub-divided into 3 lanes (1 out bike, 1 in bike, and an out/back run lane)
Rolling hills with more turns than I could count.
Alot of TNTers.
A tri/criterium.

Armstrong raced on a relay team with Becky Lavelle and Gina Kehr. They beat TJ by about 2 minutes. It was a race to benefit Lavelle's charity, Jenny's Light, www.jennyslight.org. Lots of talent: Sarah Haskins, Brian and Becky Lavelle, TJ Tollakson, Victor Plata, Gina Kehr, Kelly Couch.
