Training and Headaches Can't Post

First off, I have been to the doctor and had 1,001 tests done, so I am not asking for a diagnosis, I am just curious if other people experience the same thing I do.

I did not work out yesterday and have a low grade headache this morning. This happens to me all the time, but as soon as I work out (bike, swim, run) the headache goes away. This happens all the time. I usually work out at night and when I miss a workout almost every morning after I have headaches, when I do work out I dont have issues.

Anyone else experience this?

I don't have experience with exactly what you are talking about (so feel free to disregard what I say), but I have had cronic headaches / migraines my entire life. Since you are getting headaches from not working out, it may be that your headaches are cause by tension that workouts generally relieve. Also, since you said that you generally work out in the evening, and your headaches occur in the morning, it could be that you sleep differently when you don't work out and therefore you breath differently. If you are not getting quite enough oxygen at night, that could cause headaches in the morning.

Just my thoughts.

That does make sense. I was asked to do a sleep study and have not scheduled it yet, should be interesting....consider it test 1002.
Thanks.

same here. and i have experienced all sorts of different reasons for headaches, and shifting causes (and, occasionally, remedies), too, relative to my state of fitness.
one thing that popped into my head as i read your (OPer) note was to at least give a try to drinking some/more during the night. i've gone to having a water bottle at the bedside and will take a swig when i wake up during the night. i've actually sort of floated away some headaches, so more or less attribute those to a mild dehydration. this surely isn't going to affrect/do away with a real migraine....or mine, in any event. but it has fixed some which seem to have been due to an undetected dehydration. cheap, and worth a try.
