Has anyone does this race? I'm in for the 17k this year (it just sold out this week).
They only have detailed maps up for the 5k, so I was wondering what to expect. Looks like a good ascent over the first 7 miles (up to about 1,100 feet above sea level).
Based on some of the finish times from last year, it also looks like there was some walking. Of the 26 men in 35-39, only 6 had a sub 10:00 min/mile pace.
I'm going to need to channel my inner Billy Goat.
