You make the call, here are my choices.

Zipp 808's(2008 Demo) $1700
Hed Jet 9 c2 $1650
Gray 9.5 carbon clincher(the dark horse) $1300

Dedicated race wheels to be used in a couple of weeks at IM

Dunno about C2, but excelsports.com has a jet9/jet disc combo on for $1350.00 which seems like a screaming deal.

You can get a better price on the Heds. Even ordering straight from the company they're only $1600 and you don't have to try very hard to find at least 10% off MSRP from retailers. And that is are for the 2009 model.

HEd doesn't allow online discounting on current model wheels. You'd have to call whomever is selling them instead of placing order online.

True, you have to make a call or two. Bikesportmichigan.com is running a call for price special now and bicycledoctor.net almost always has special pricing available. I'm sure there are others. The contract with Hed prevents advertising discounted prices, not selling for discounted prices. I may pay MSRP to support my local shop, but not more.
