clicky sounding hubs vs. no clicky sounding Can't Post

why do some hubs make that "clicky" sound when coasting and others don't?

i think it sounds kinda cool, but at the same time, it seems like it has to waste energy. i'm sure the amount wasted is completely miniscule and makes no difference, but i know how some people on this board take that stuff seriously.

that being said, what hubs are the loudest? my 404's are a bit louder than my training wheels. but i want that shit even louder!

I never heard anything louder than my old White Industries hubs....

White industries or super old DT Hugi with the Ti freehub body are the loudest.

But more importantly, why are you coasting?
