I watch a YouTuber Combat Veteran Reacts, he gives a detailed summary each day of what is going on.
Sounds like Russia has made a breakthrough in what appears to be a Ukrainian mistake and is going on all into an area/town of Ocheretyne. Hopefully this can be stopped with the aid coming in.
My understanding is all of these successes have been rather small. In the Avdiivka direction after all the months of fighting they've now captured something like 270sq kms which sounds like a lot but is really not much at all, and lost a lot of material and men doing so. The Russians appear to have adapted and are having some local success with their "turtle" tanks.
For me the real question is how will either side break the deadlock? With the drones it appears near impossible to take anything more than small pieces of territory.
Ukraine seems to be having a real problem recruiting enough soldiers, supposedly there are 150k fighting age Ukrainian men in Poland alone that may be soon forcibly returned to Ukraine.
Meanwhile moral of the Russian troops is reported to be very low. I can't get over how many suicides are captured by drones. They get wounded and just shoot themselves or drop a grenade down their armor vest. There are so many more of these videos recently than there use to be.
