On my 3rd pair of VF Next % and have a small dilemma. I have used Superfeet carbon inserts ( I am flat footed so went to fleet feet for the pair I have 2 years ago). My 1st pair of Next % did well with the inserts but my second pair from last summer not so much. The inserts cut the upper mesh where there was interference. Im thinking the 1st pair of Next % were the 1st version and my last pair and current pair are Next %2 and wondering if they got narrower. on any acount I checked the measurements of my new shoes and the insoles are 56.4mm whereas my inserts are 70mm....hence the failure of the upper mesh. I did get over 400 miles out of my last pair of Next % but dont want to use these inserts again. What are you guys and gals using for inserts in the VF Next % shoes?
