Any return to sport experiences after knee cartilage transplant surgery (specifically OCA)?

I'm headed for cartilage transplant surgery for a 2x1cm cartilage abnormality in my right on the right lateral condyle of my femur. My surgeon (and 2nd opinion said it's slightly too large for MACI, but OCA is the perfect surgery for someone like me.

I'm a front of the pack 37 year old triathlete who currently cannot do any meaningful running without my knee swelling up. Hard biking can also trigger some swelling. I have nearly no pain until the swelling takes over - then I don't even want to walk for the peak of the 1 week swelling cycle that occurs until it goes back to normal. The cause is part heredity/(over)use, but the latest recurring swelling issue was brought on by a cycling/car accident I cannot currently elaborate on except that I landed on the outside of my right knee.

Surgery is happening sometime in April. Just wanted to see if anyone has had anything similar and what to expect. I am hoping to be swimming without wall pushes and kicking within a few weeks. Hopefully cycling begins in a few months post-surgery and I'm feeling fit on the bike by the time I'm able to run.

Here is what I know:
- 6 weeks non-weight bearing
- at LEAST 6 months no pounding (running)
- 85-88% success rate
- Should last 12-17 years

I've written of racing triathlons in 2024 (hoping for OWS, cycling, maybe aqua bike by late 2024). Should I expect to be racing triathlon by March 2025?!
