Not sure where the “Hardest Geezer” title came from, as he’s only 27, but Russ Cook is suppose to have finished the challenge today (Africa time zone).

Not a coach. Not a FOP Tri/swimmer/biker/runner. Barely a MOP AGer.
But I'm learning and making progress.

I won’t believe it until Matt Damon narrates a documentary movie about it.

Been following him for a few months now on youtube and insta, its been a crazy trip for him and the crew - to get up every day for over a year and run over 40km day after day is an amazing feat. Very motivating.

I suspect there will be a documentary, book, merch etc etc as the funding for the trip (fully paid staff, equipment etc) has been done from an investor - no money raised has been used for the trip, the ÂŁ600k+ raised all goes to charity - kudos to them.

Always controversy with these ultra events it seems, looks like his claim of being "first" was not exactly accurate;
