I see the new prototype On trainers been been appearing on the feet on On sponsored Athletes and the Hoka's Rocketx2 being mighty popular - and it got me wondering.
Why no heel tab, large tongue for saving those few seconds in transition? I saw loads of people in the T100 race thumbling with their shoes, trying to grab an non-existent tongue / heel tabs
The Asics Noosa tri is probably the perfect shoe for Triathlon, sock like, big tongue / heel pulls etc - alas its let down by using old sole tech, no plate or pebex etc
All these prototype trainers in tri, yet nothing that really helps?
Regards, Richard
