Training this coming week is again based on my race-build weekly schedule, with some adjustments for being away for the weekend with family. Also keeping going with the focus on good sleep habits. And I will make some chowders for lunches.
I got sick this week :-( Swam 13k, biked 7hrs, ran 2.5hrs, skipped strength session as was feeling washed out, did 4/4 of my 10min prehab āsessionsā. Didnāt feel good at squad run session on Wed, ground through Thu & Fri, knew game was up when I couldnāt do a planned run session on Sat. Sun/Mon Iāve been on the sofa. Sleep was good this week and I made chowders.
Now I just need to rest until Iām well again. Iām away overseas visiting my son at uni from Thu-Mon. Hopefully I can get some exercise done before I head off but weāll see. No opportunity to swim/bike while Iām away but Iāll take running shoes with me. Bit frustrated but at least Iāll be well rested post trip and can get back at it.
