Kidney Stones

Here's the next installment of my medical issues, I know you've all been waiting.
I don't take your advice alone of course, but I get insight into what I should be asking the "official" specialists (what do they know?). The shared experiences are very useful and I'm grateful for all suggestions.

I've had kidney stones from time to time. The first(2006) required a visit to the hospital and the pain level (9/10) is how I judge the others I've had since (6-7/10 - wincing but bearable). Instead of getting them perhaps once a year, since January I've been getting them regularly, in fact every time I ride my bike for 1 hour or more which is several days a week. On longer rides I seem to pass more than 1, "interestingly" the more hills the more stones.
Ironically, last year I began paying more attention to hydration(gatorade) while riding, still not the prescribed amount but HEY, there are only so many hedges in Orange County behind which I can disappear.

I'll be having my regular appointment with a Urologist in a month. What can I take to him?

Dang. That really sucks. I have had multiple stones in the past, but usually get them at night after a hard workout without much water intake, or when I drink too much soda and no water. I'm assuming you have the pee screen?

If not, go get one at CVS. That way you can take what you are discharging.

Good luck! MY last stone was soo large I couldn't pass it. I had to get it blasted. Oddly, I didn't have any pain, but got worried when I was peeing blood.
