Other than Blur, you are totally stuck in the 80's. That's OK. The 80's are cool. Actually most of the music styles that are popular today really started, were established and came into their own during the 80's. Some people write off that time to pure schlock, but many music critics feel that the late 70's to mid-80's were a very important and definative time in Pop music.

The music listed is reserved for the dreadmill. I started racing in the early 80's so maybe that's why these tunes keep me going at a clip :-)

My musical tastes off the treadmill vary from jazz, blues, rock, fusion, punk, ska, gospel, zydeco, etc.

If you like Techno and Electronica - I strongly suggest Fischerspooner

When I'm low on Motivation I like The Dan Band. For those who don't know (they aren't popular where I live I heard they are popular in other parts of the country) they are the band on Old School that plays total eclipse of the heart and says the f word. Most of their songs are covers from the 80's that they play hard.

for longer stuff i put music i am actually going to listen too on, for shorter workouts its just loud with a beat,

but what about putting music on there you like;)
