NYT LetterBoxed - SPOILERS

Thought it could have its own thread.

Goal is to complete in five words, but I’m only happy with four, or even three.

Post your best efforts here….

My three today below (spoilers):

It’s a little frustrating that if you enter a solution you can’t go back and try to improve, so I just make a note of what my five or four is, and then keep trying for three.

It’s all about the vowels, and then seeing what other letter patterns are available, like “ing”.

Today’s vowels, and where they were located in the box were terrible.

Only one vowel?

I was a fail today. I think that’s the first time I’ve never been able to use every single ladder.

The fun thing about boxed is you can play the day’s challenge several times.

The annoying thing about boxed is you can play the day’s challenge several times.

At least the one a day games let you get on with the rest of your day.

For a complete time-suck, *do not *play tiles. Especially zen mode. OMG !

Managed it in four (below). Pretty sure three is impossible with just one vowel.

That’s odd because once I enter a correct answer to LetterBoxed I can’t play it again without a subscription.

The goal is to use up all the letters using a maximum of five words. Fewer words is more impressive.

I have a NYT subscription, so maybe that's it.... But it's still one a day for wordle, connections, strands, crosswords.

With today's H-A on the same side, getting one solution (took 5 words) is good for me for today. I ignored the Play Again button.

1st time playing, 3 words: judas stoic churn

I didn't think they would accept judas as they don't allow proper nouns, but looked it up afterwards and found a few other definitions on dictionary.com:

noun
1. Also called Judas Iscariot. the disciple who betrayed Jesus. Mark 3:19.
2. a person treacherous enough to betray a friend; traitor.
3. Also called Saint Judas, Saint Jude. one of the 12 apostles (not Judas Iscariot). Luke 6:16; Acts 1:13; John 14:22.
4. a brother of James (and possibly of Jesus). Matthew 13:55; Mark 6:3.
5. (usually lowercase)Also called judas hole . a peephole, as in an entrance door or the door of a prison cell.

adjective
1. (of an animal) used as a decoy to lead other animals to slaughter:
A Judas goat led sheep into the abattoir.

So yeah I meant the peephole.
