It took me some time also. I was first thinking of synonyms for tasty. I saw sweet, then salty and bitter quickly and slowed down a bit. I saw flavors because part of the word ran alongside found words. The last two words were piquant which I was vaguely familiar with and only got because it was the only letters in the blocked off zone. Never heard of umami. I didn't know it was another word for MSG. ( I was thinking I was misremembering edamame ).

I was making quick work of this one. Then I got to the last word which I had never heard of. Sounds like a sex act.

It was medium/hard. I was thinking the theme may be along the lines of dating but couldn't find the words to support it. I will type in any word I can see and have sometimes found a word that helps reveal the theme. I saw gulp almost immediately then book and booking and pair. I saw mitten, then I got it. So, now I'm looking for things like earrings, socks etc. In looking for earrings I found ear and traced it backwards to gulp (plug). The thing that also made it difficult a lot of the words were singular instead of plural which goes along with pairs. I relooked at pair and tried paired. Went back to book and found end (now that my mind was right) I saw a combination of letters in the upper portion that looked like you could make lipstick out of it, but you can't. Saw chop and put it together. The last three were the hardest. Lower right the only word I could see and make was wing (sneaky sobs) my mind was looking for wings. Tong was the only word left, same thing. The only letters left I could make a word out of was plier and I don't know how that fits into a pair.

Fast and easy, just how a like 'em......

I thought it was going to be easy but after I got the spanagram I was stuck for a while. I saw beauty but thought it would have to be sleeping or and the beast. I tried beauty and it went into the hint cache. I finally saw beautiful then swan and realized it was descriptors of the fairy tale (I just vaguely remember it) then I slowly found the rest of the words.

Noted the clue. Then got hung up on the wrong bar, wondering why stools (barstools) wasn’t valid. but windows (glass), and menu (food) were valid. Then it clicked.

That was tough. I was thinking things in a bar when I found window but the other words like tools and history I couldn't make sense how they fit together. Even after all the letters were filled in except the spanagram I couldn't see it because I was looking at it as one word. It wasn't until I wrote it down that I saw it was two words then everything clicked.
