Even if you don't reduce the price by much the total package would still be a bargain and maybe encourage some folks to go with the full bike over just the frameset. I'm not sure if that does you any good on your bottom line though - I assume most of your profit comes from the frameset and not the components you build it up with. But on the customer service side it could be a positive even if your cost is close to a wash.
