I thought I would get away with telling my wife that I had just got a new groupset on my old bike. The Pinarello is so stunning she realised it was not my old bike though ; )

Trek SC was bought by a very happy guy as that is still a super frame.

That's a bit ballsy. ;=) I like playing with fire as much as the next guy. But, I'm Not sure I'd try to sneak a 10k purchase past my wife.

Are you clicking the upload button after you choose the file? There is a preview post button that will show you what it will look like before posting it.

First off, scrolling through, I gotta say the Felt's look bad ass!

In any case, here's my Parlee TTiR. Incredible handling (feels like a road bike), awesome power transfer, and the ride quality/front and rear balance is sublime.
Profile aerobars are amazing with height adjust ability and rock-solid installation. I'm running Hed Vanquish 4/9's; 6 front when it's not windy. Looking to get a Hed Disc in the future.
The front sticker has aerodynamic dimpling like a golf ball.
(LOL, just kidding but most people believe it :-) )

Is it just me who thinks the Felts with the tiny seat post box (see posts #16, 60, 96) look funny?

Just because your wife says so doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true...

We negotiate on all other purchases.

Upside on a tri bike is that this one, like the last one, will be used for KQ at some point and therefore it is a win:win for a superb family holiday.

I did self regulate too by not going for the space grade carbon of the TR+ and settling for the fighter plane grade carbon of the TR : )

Saronni Paint scheme on Cervelos, digging it. You have a Colnago to match them?

When I was younger I competed in bike racing. I ordered a Colnago Master with C Record in the classic colours and financed it with selling my old bike and working 5-6months. However, I ended up with a frame that was almost completely white with some touches of pink(!!) some 14 days before the season’s first race.

So these paint jobs are in a way some kind of closure on that unfortunate incident some 30 years later, ha ha!

I dont think its the size, but how it is positioned. If you look at Trek/BMC/QR it firs RIGHT over the wheel which makes it look MUCH better. On the felt there is this wierd gap between the box and the wheel, and to me that does not look very good at all. I wonder why it is so much higher or if the bikes are really built that differently.
