Looking for some advice here. I have my set up with my treadmill and my trainer side by side. Right now I have a box fan on a table right behind me but with a toddler this is not ideal. Does anybody have a suggestion for a fan that I can mount on the wall behind me? Even better any pictures of this? Thanks!

This was the very first day we owned our new home. Wife wasn't thrilled I was riding on night one. Room has changed a lot, I'll have to get some updated pics.

Getting mine finished up. I have a TV mounted on the wall that the treadmill is facing. It was a cheapo Sceptre from walmart. The sound quality is terrible, I think I am going to invest in a good soundbar or some wireless headphones.

Did you just put the flooring onto the slab? I want to put something similar down. For now my treadmill and trainer are on mats on top of carpet.

How firm is that? I'm worried about things sinking in, especially on top of carpet.

Would it be good to have a sheet of plywood under it?

Thanks! Do you just put the tiles on top of the carpet or remove the carpet and just place on the slab. I’m not sure my wife wants me removing/ruining the carpet. The mats I have work okay, but I’d prefer something firmer. My pain cave doubles as a guest room (fold treadmill and remove bikes/trainer) when family visits.

My base floor is concrete with linoleum tile (yuck!). I don't know how it would work on carpet, but this is dense stuff. It's pretty cheap, so there's very little financial downside to simply trying it.

My trainer is an Elite Drivo and it doesn't 'sink' enough to notice it. Rollers are Elite e-Motion B+ and they are also quite stable.

Check out creative labs speakers. I got a great set of speakers (computer) for about $95 and they are amazing.

I bought those tiles off eBay and put them directly on top of my plywood subfloor. My building is around 220 sq ft and I think I ended up paying around $150. I am probably going to purchase some stall mats from tractor supply company to put under my squat rack. The weights tend to leave marks in that foam tile. The stall mats are more resilient and thicker.

I used the cycloc, super hero model. I am happy with it, made sure the pedal mount went into a stud and have had no problems.

What did you do to the concrete?

Its a self leveling metallic epoxy. I think its a good solution for the area. Won't have to worry about any liquid spills or sweating on carpet. No more dust from the bare concrete. If the basement ever gets wet with carpet it is normally a big issue. The epoxy is claimed to withstand 3 psi of water pressure. any touch up work can be easily done by just applying a new clear coat in the future which is pretty cheap and easy.
