I know it is a stock color combo, but that is the best pic I've seen of that color. Really pretty.

Sadly no longer, they have discontinued that colour option otherwise I'd have gone that way too. May be some left in stock, but colour seems dropped for 2024.

Agreed but loses style points for the non-drive side photo.

Be wary of those factory aluminum base bars breaking at the welds. After 10 years mine broke and about killed me at 30mph. I’ve heard of others failing as well.

This was a winter 2023 project. Took an old 2013 giant trinity with 10 speed 105 and converted it to 11 speed di2. Rode this bike to a 19min 15k TT.

So just got the bike ready for half distance race in a couple of weeks. Something a little different to the normal run of bikep0rn. And not deliberately retro, just a bike that's lasted me well and needed anything doing to it since I built it (I bought frame and components). Was a PITA to build as it didn't come with an instruction manual (it should have) and the front end is bloody complicated, but once built it's largely been untouched. Few new BBs (SRAM GXP), that's an updated Quarq, the S975 is still working but I've swapped to slightly shorter length, and the torhans bottle replaced a white profile one for no real reason.
Still running 10speed.

One key feature is the accelerator levers. Work in most conditions, but if slightly damp or wet then I swear a pull of the levers on the base bar actually makes you go quicker....... (Ok, so the TRP 'brakes' are not what you'd buy this for. I am genuinely a bit worried after only riding my disc road bike for last 3 years, so Sunday is going to be 'interesting'.

Slowly, slowly getting it ready for 2024!

Currently at 50/37 (AXS) - but going bigger would require a new front mech :(

Really nice, and cool keeping your road bars, but that 50T front's gonna hurt if it causes you to use an 11T rear.

Nice! And likely just as slippery as the current generation of super bikes.

Very nice - that front end is a thing of beauty AND can carry two bottles! Like many, I still have one BTA up front and two behind the seat - might have to switch.

Not only the fastest but also:
- lighter and probably climbs better than most super bikes
- you can actually wrench on it yourself!

700x25/26 should fit no problem. Maybe even 28s?

Fantastic build.

Agreed. Not so sure I agree with the above poster that it’s a thing of beauty but very fast for sure!

I’m soon to be 47 and have signed up for my first 70.3 iron man this summer. I built this Beauty up with sram red components 167.5 cranks, ceramic speed bb, garbaruk oval chain wheel, ism saddle, zipp 858nsw wheels with continental GP str 28mm tires tubeless. Bike is an Argon18 E119 disc. Finally figured out how to load a pic.

Mostly $$$ and fit. Considered a Trek frame to build out but I'd have to make some pretty big front end mods to get it long enough for me (which is the problem with every bike right now). Spent weeks pouring over geometry charts and realized I had the longest frame out there sitting unused in my garage anyways. Figured it would be a cool project to build up, would fit be better than any bike out there, and would be super unique in the pro field!

If someone handed me a free Speed Concept or similar I'd swap, but hoping to get some testing on this just to ensure I'm not losing too much.

Ha yeah it looks like a bit of a hodgepodge but that's the nature of XL bikes to begin with. A custom paint job would be fun and go a long ways to making the aesthetics a bit more streamlined, but the whole point of the build was to save money so...
