But why the change from the Omni to this?

20mm more reach on the frame. Pretty much it. Even with extenders I couldn't get as long as I wanted to be. If there was an XL with scaled geometry that would have done it but I needed a true XL.

Can you do a breakdown on all of the upgrades? Looks like Tririg breaks and cockpit. Is it di2 and 1x12?

About as simple as a build can get:
SRAM AXS 1x w/ Red gxp crankset, Force RD, 2 sets of blips (no controller box), stone 1x 54t chainring
BBinfinite gxp bottom bracket
Full TriRig components (Alpha One, 2x Omega One, Delta cover, Scoops Ultimate, Styx)
Premierbike disc w/ xdr hub, Aliexpress front trispoke

Priority on this build was aero, followed by budget, followed by simplicity. Was limited in some regards (tire clearance, drilled out front derailleur mount years ago), but other than that just went with the nicest, easiest to work on components out there.

Holy brake cable batman. Can that be reduced? It seems like an overabundance of brake line.

Just picked this up about a week ago. 2015 Shiv. Had the original (I think?) wheels on it but I've already replaced them with some 80mm Reynolds I bought a couple months ago from Mudge. Not even dialed in yet and it's faster than my 20 year old Cheetah.

I gotta ask-why 2 speed concepts? I obviously read and saw trainer bike, but-it can't be that hard to put on a trainer! LOL. They both look great.

Haha, good question! LOL Maybe Iā€™m a bit Speed Concept crazy.
I love these bikes and very much enjoy working on them, and whenever I stumble upon a good deal, I have a hard time to pass.
I use the 7.5 for most of my outdoor training, the 9.5 almost exclusively for races, and actually have a 3rd one, permanently sitting on a Tacx. Yup - definitely crazy! šŸ¤Ŗ

Wow! You married? I ask in jest. That is pretty funny. You are a very neat and organized person. Your training spot is nicer than most people's houses! :)

Would you mind sharing insights if the cockpit change on the Felt? I am on a ia3 and looking to do a fill conversion.

What was the biggest issue with the conversion?

Itā€™s been awhile. But biggest issue with the felts is the nose fairing and how to attach it to aftermarket bars. I donā€™t know if there are new aftermarket bars that take this into consideration or not but at the time there were no on the shelf solutions. I ended up whittling a piece of wood that I screwed into the bottom of the alpha x bars that the nose fairing could then be screwed to.

I donā€™t know why the photos uploaded sideways.

First New Bike Day since 2011. This replacing the Argon E-114.

Hard to take a picture of the colour change paint, the first photo probably shows it best. YBN Rainbow chain to complement.
